Our wood floors are only a year old, but they still look perfect. We all have always had the habit of removing our shoes in the house so perhaps the traffic issue isn't as much of an issue. Wow this video is really informative and very useful for installation a woof floor.

I've also considered getting hard wood flooring and have been comparing different quotes. Its a huge expense but I believe to be worth it in the end.
